New Liturgical Minister Workshops

Interested in stepping forward to assist in leading our weekend worship of God? Next month we will offer workshops to help you discern and learn how to be a Lector or Eucharistic Minister. RSVPs are needed by October 25. Here’s the schedule:

Sunday, November 1, 1:00-2:15 pm or Thursday, November 12, 6:00-7:15 pm RSVP to Bill Konnath, Parish Coordinator for Lectors. A reading will be sent to you to prepare and read as part of the workshop. Open to any parishioners of all ages who can confidently proclaim the Word of God. The sanctuary platform is fully accessible by those who have mobility impairments; the Ambo from which the readings are proclaimed is adjustable.

Eucharistic Ministers:

Sunday, November 1, 1:45-3:00 pm or Thursday, November 12, 6:45-8:00 pm RSVP to Mitch Arney,  Parish Coordinator for Eucharistic Ministers, so we can prepare appropriate materials. Open to parishioners who wish to share the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ with fellow parishioners and have received all three sacraments of initiation (i.e., have been confirmed). All areas of the church are fully accessible by those who have mobility impairments.

There is a half-hour overlap during which all new ministers will be together; individuals may come for Lector and stay for Eucharistic Minister trainings if they wish to serve in both ministries.
