Prayer Angels Are Needed
Each year we ask parishioners to prayfully consider being a Prayer Angel for one of the students in our PK-5 grade RE program. One Angel is needed for each class - with 66 classes of students we need lots of Angels. It is that easy and such a rewarding ministry. Contact Joyce at 964-3545 to learn more.
Called And Gifted Workshop
How is the Holy Spirit calling you to share your gifts in your family, parish, community and our world? St. Joseph Educational Center and Ss John & Paul Parish are co-sponsoring the Called & Gifted Workshop on Saturday, October 18, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. There is no cost for the workshop; a free will offering will be taken. Called & Gifted is a one-day, interactive workshop that includes Church teaching on the laity and lay ministry; the nature of spiritual gifts, call and vocation; and how to undertake the process of discernment.
Come learn about our common mission to the world as Church, your role in that mission, and your spiritual gifts, “given for the common good”. To learn more and to register.…..
A Walk of Faith
A Quick Journey Through the Bible is an eight-week program that offers an opportunity to learn the basic framework of the bible and how to read and understand the Word of God. It is a chronological walk through the Bible developed by Jeff Cavins, author of the longer, 24 week series, Bible Timeline. This “quick” journey will be held on eight Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm beginning Tuesday, October 7. In order to have enough materials, please call the parish office, 964-3038, by September 15 and let us know you plan to attend.
