Help Us Help Others

OLIH will be hosting a meal packing event on Friday March 6th.  This is a wonderful opportunity for people of all age groups, families, singles, faith sharing groups, and anyone who wants to help those in need.  We are hoping to raise money and package enought meals to feed 30,000 people.    Watch the video below to understand Outreach and the people they feed in Tanzania!

Each weekend leading up to March 6th, we will have a table in the Gathering Space at OLIH where you can donate money to help us purchase the supplies for the meals.  Also, we need many many volunteers to donate their time to package the food.  You may sign up for one of three 1-hour shifts, 4:30-5:30pm; 5:30-6:30pm;6:30-7:30pm on Friday March 6th.

Lenten Study Opportunities

Quick Journey Through the Bible

Tuesdays - February 24 - April 14 7:00 - 8:30pm in room 8

A chronological walk through the Bible story in a way that reveals God’s plan for His Creation; what went wrong at the beginning and how God worked through history to reconcile his lost children to Himself while building His kingdom. The study includes a series of eight, half-hour videos followed by group discussion. It provides an excellent introduction and overview of Scripture from a Catholic perspective. Cost of materials is $16.  Contact the OLIH office 964-3038 or OLIH@olih.org to register

Lenten Study: Priest, Prophet, King

Thursdays - February 19 - March 26 - 7:00 - 8:30pm in the library

Through this presentation of Priest, Prophet, King, you will better understand Jesus, become more familiar with Scripture, and realize your own priestly, prophetic, and kingly mission. Six sessions with a 20-minute video and group discussion. Produced by Fr. Barron of the Catholicism series.  Contact the OLIH office 964-3038 or OLIH@olih.org to register
