OLIH Religious Education Registration

Yes it is still it still summer - but the school year is just around the corner.  On-line registration for Religious Education classes will be from August 1-10. In order to plan correctly for the number of classes and catechists we need, it is imperative you enroll your child during this time. Cost is $85 per child, with a maximum of $170 per family. Beginning Monday, August 11, there will be a $25 additional late fee per family.

All fees are waived for those who serve as catechists; nursery, office, hall, gym and parking lot monitors are only charged half of their family fee. If you have any questions, stop by our table on August 2 & 3 after the Mass to find out more information about the program and how you can be involved.

Registration for catechists is now available.  To register visit our OLIH Religious Eduation page

Evening Prayer

Join us at 7:30 pm in the church for Sunday Evening Prayer. This prayer is part of the Liturgy of the Hours, one of the public prayers of the Church along with Mass and the sacraments. Jesus commanded us to pray as he did, so the Church developed the communal worship of Liturgy of the Hours at certain points during the day and night. You are invited to pray the Evening portion every Sunday at 7:30 pm in the church. The prayer takes about 20 minutes and is open to adults and families who desire prayer time with others.  Evening Prayer includes Scripture, silence, and petitions.

Be Ready for Sunday

Looking for a way to help prepare for the weekend Liturgy?  Check out the Center for Liturgy’s website.

Sunday Scripture Sharing

Join us for an hour of prayerful reflection on the readings for the upcoming weekend on Tuesday evenings from 6:45-7:45 pm, in Room 9. Handouts are provided each week.
